Mercedes-Benz Central and Eastern Europe (MBC CEE) is looking for Business Performance & Data Intelligence Specialist CEE to support the Financial Services business across the CEE region.
About the Role:
As Business Performance & Data Intelligence Specialist CEE, you will drive business performance and enable data-driven decision-making across the Financial Services business for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. You will act as a trusted business partner to management and key stakeholders, identifying growth opportunities, performance risks and strategic business levers through advanced analytics, business intelligence and performance steering. By providing decision-oriented insights and recommendations, you will directly support management in steering business performance across the CEE region.
Working closely with multiple markets across Central and Eastern Europe, you will support regional business steering and enable fact-based decision-making in a highly international environment.
You will own and continuously improve reporting and analytics solutions, including Power BI dashboards, KPI frameworks and performance monitoring tools. By combining reliable data foundations with clear business recommendations, you will help management and markets steer performance effectively across CEE.
What You'll Do:
Business Performance & Data Intelligence: Monitor and analyze KPIs across the Financial Services business, including financing and leasing penetration, profitability, portfolio performance, customer retention, dealer performance and product performance. Identify performance drivers, business opportunities, market trends and strategic insights, and translate findings into actionable recommendations that support business steering and management decision-making.
Strategic Analytics & Insights: Collect, consolidate and interpret data from internal and external sources such as sales, finance, CRM, dealer, portfolio and market data. Develop analytical approaches to uncover business opportunities and market trends and translate complex datasets into actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
Forecasting, Planning & Performance Steering: Support annual business planning, budgeting and forecasting for Financial Services volumes, penetration and profitability. Conduct profitability, portfolio, sensitivity and what-if analyses to evaluate business scenarios and strategic options, monitor performance targets and provide data-driven recommendations to improve commercial performance.
Reporting Solutions & Process Excellence: Gather, analyze and document business requirements and translate business objectives into reporting methodologies, KPI frameworks and analytical solutions. Coordinate the development and continuous enhancement of reporting tools and dashboards while improving, standardizing and automating reporting processes and KPI governance across CEE.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Act as a trusted business partner and central contact for performance reporting, analytics and business performance management initiatives across CEE. Coordinate collaboration between management, markets, business users, data providers and technical teams and drive alignment on performance priorities and reporting standards.
What You'll Bring:
Analytical Strength: Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear business insights and decision-oriented recommendations.
Business Expertise: Solid understanding of financial services performance drivers, profitability and portfolio management.
Reporting & BI Experience: Experience in business analysis, requirements management, project coordination and translating business needs into scalable reporting solutions.
Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI and data visualization principles. Experience with CRM, ERP, DWH, SQL, or comparable reporting and data environments.
Process & KPI Mindset: Ability to design and maintain KPI frameworks, analytical methodologies, reporting processes and performance monitoring solutions.
Collaboration: Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technical functions, combined with a structured, proactive and ownership-driven mindset.
Education: University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
Language Skills: Fluent English is required.
