The Cloud Team designs, builds, and operates Remitly's AWS cloud foundation - the networking fabric and infrastructure tooling that every product team depends on. We manage cloud infrastructure at significant scale (hundreds to thousands of accounts), move money for millions of customers , and treat reliability, security, and operational excellence as non-negotiable. As a Cloud Engineer, you'll focus on our cloud networking stack and the infrastructure-as-code that defines it. You'll design and build network topology in Terraform, operate connectivity that every product team and payments partner depends on, and troubleshoot complex issues across a large multi-account, multi-region AWS environment. You'll work alongside senior engineers who lead our larger architecture and platform-software efforts, growing your depth as you take on more ownership over time.
This is also a great fit if you're a strong networking or DevOps engineer who wants to grow into writing code. You'll manage and operate networks at real scale, and you'll get the room - and the support - to l evel up from Terraform into building and maintaining Go services that run our platform. We’ll actively support your growth in coding here, but we need solid fundamentals first.
