Data Engineer v Praha – Karlín, Česko

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our group data function in Prague.

In this role you will help build reliable, well-structured data models and data flows that serve the entire group, reduce manual effort, harmonize data across our subsidiaries, and empower our business teams with trustworthy data.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data models and pipelines that power analytics and reporting across our entire group.
• Integrate data from diverse sources across subsidiaries into unified, reusable datasets that drive consistent insights.
• Leverage Snowflake, dbt, and AWS to scale and advance our group's data infrastructure.
• Harmonize KPIs across markets and break down data silos between subsidiaries.
• Bridge business and technical teams—translate requirements into robust solutions and complex data concepts into clear explanations.
• Set group-wide standards for data quality, modeling, documentation, testing, and observability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data, ideally including work in a group or multi-entity data environment.
• Strong, confident command of SQL and Python, along with solid working practices around Git and AI-powered development.
• Proven, practical experience with data engineering within cloud-based data infrastructure.
• A strong understanding of data modelling, data pipelines, and data quality, with the ability to design and build a suitable data architecture independently.
• A structured, and proactive approach, paired with natural curiosity and inclination to challenge status quo.
• Experience working with Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, AWS tools is a plus, as is working with BI tools such as Power BI.
• Fluency in English, Czech language is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in our Prague Karlín office three days a week, while working remotely for the remaining two days.
