1. Lead and deliver infrastructure initiatives such as platform evergreening, patching, upgrades, and decommissioning
2. Build and manage database environments, optimising server usage and cost performance
3. Ensure compliance by deploying patches and security updates within risk and governance frameworks
4. Evaluate new database technologies and cloud features, support pilot deployments, and develop proof-of-concepts
5. Provide internal consulting on database design, resilience, scalability, performance tuning, and backup/recovery strategies
6. Produce clear documentation for standards, implementation guides, and operational handbooks

You will work across multiple database technologies (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Cloud DB services) to support business-critical applications and drive strategic initiatives such as platform upgrades, migrations, and standardisation . This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role , enabling you to deliver impactful solutions across global infrastructure.
