EHS Specialist v Brno, Česko

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an EHS Specialist to lead environmental health and safety management at the Brno facility. The role encompasses compliance with legislation and ISO standards, risk assessment, internal audits, and continuous improvement of EHS processes across manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Brno EHS Management System and develop global process compliance
• Identify regulatory changes and ensure organizational compliance; manage permits with authorities
• Conduct root cause analysis, internal audits, and validation of corrective actions
• Establish EHS objectives, monitor performance metrics, and report on outcomes
• Coordinate risk identification, hazard evaluation, and prevention initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in EHS or equivalent combination of experience and training
• Minimum 3 years of professional EHS experience
• Czech national health and safety certification (OZO in BOZP)
• Demonstrated success improving EHS processes and leading projects
• Understanding of ISO 14001 environmental management standards
• Fluent English in speech and writing; proficiency with MS Office
• Willingness to travel up to 10% regionally and internationally
