Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an Electronics Engineer II to support sustaining engineering for electronic assemblies. The role involves troubleshooting complex electronics, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations in Brno.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve electronic issues at system and component levels throughout product lifecycle
- Conduct root cause analysis and support CAPA implementation for manufacturing and field issues
- Perform First Article builds, validation testing, and component alternates evaluation
- Maintain technical documentation including schematics, BOMs, test procedures, and service guides
- Design test fixtures and support production and service teams with hands-on technical assistance
Requirements
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience
- Expertise in analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronics
- Proficiency with schematics, PCB diagnostics, and measurement techniques
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or sustaining engineering environments
- Fluent in English and Czech languages
- Root cause analysis and engineering change process knowledge preferred
