Responsibilities
Design, develop, test and maintain Python software for mass spectrometry instruments
Develop software for embedded Linux-based systems and instrument control
Investigate and resolve complex software, communication and instrument-level problems
Contribute to software architecture, code reviews, automated testing and engineering best practices
Collaborate with hardware, software and scientific teams across international R&D locations
Requirements
University degree in technical field with 2+ years software development experience or equivalent
Strong proficiency in Python development
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with Git version control and modern DevOps practices
Ability to translate complex technical and scientific requirements into software solutions
Fluent written and spoken English for international collaboration
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
