Welcome to Elkjøp Brno!

Working at Elkjøp Brno is fast-paced, fun, and exciting.
We are at the forefront of technology and customer experience, always eager to explore new and better ways of doing things.

At our Brno office, you will join a tight-knit team of around 20 skilled colleagues and experienced leaders who are here to help you achieve your goals.
Our mission? To make life easier for our Nordic Franchise Business - and make a real difference every single day.

About Elkjøp
Elkjøp Brno is the Czech branch of Elkjøp, a Nordic electronics retail chain that has been growing strong since 1962.
Today, we work side by side with:

10,000 retail colleagues across the Nordics,
400 HQ colleagues, and
millions of customers, helping them improve their everyday lives with amazing technology.

Your role as Finance Associate
This is your first step into finance. You will learn how a Nordic retail business keeps its numbers right - and with an experienced team beside you from day one.

Location: This is a hybrid role based in our Brno office, with three days a week on-site.

Your day-to-day will include:

Learning the ropes of day-to-day finance operations, from invoices to reconciliations
Booking transactions and supporting the team with supplier and customer follow-ups
Supporting monthly closing activities and account reconciliations
Preparing manual postings and corrections
Helping out with interim and annual audits, and picking up new tasks as you grow

Who we think you are

You're curious, eager to learn and not afraid to ask questions.
You're organized and reliable, take pride in getting details right, and take deadlines seriously.
You enjoy working with people and communicate clearly, whether with teammates or colleagues across the Nordics.
You're fluent in English – a Nordic language is a bonus.
You're at the start of your career – no previous experience needed.
A background in finance or accounting and some Excel know-how are helpful, but we'll teach you the rest.

Skills can be taught, mindset can't. So even if you don't tick every box, we'd love to hear from you.
