For EURO-CENTER Holding SE we are looking for a motivated and analytical junior Financial Controller to join our Finance team and support a range of activities across financial reporting, analysis, budgeting and process improvement.
This is a part-time position (approx. 20 hours/week), making it a great opportunity for a university student, recent graduate or junior finance professional looking to gain practical experience in financial controlling and reporting. We also welcome applications from parents searching for a flexible arrangement.
What will you do?
Your main responsibilities will include:
Preparing and maintaining financial reports, dashboards and management reporting
Supporting monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities
Comparing actual results with budgets, forecasts and previous periods and investigating variances
Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
Collecting and consolidating financial data from different departments
Monitoring operating costs and supporting profitability analysis
Preparing ad hoc financial analyses and presentations
Supporting financial controls, data accuracy and audit activities
Contributing to process improvement, reporting automation and digitalisation projects
What are we looking for?
Your profile:
Completed secondary education; university studies or a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field is an advantage
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and lookups)
Good command of English
Experience with ERP systems (e.g. MS Dynamics, SAP, Oracle) or reporting tools (Power BI/Tableau) is a plus, but not required
You are a good fit if you have:
Strong analytical and numerical skills with an eye for detail
Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
Clear communication and a collaborative approach
Curious, proactive mindset and willingness to learn and develop
Interest in digitalisation, automation and AI in finance
