For EURO-CENTER Holding SE we are looking for a motivated and analytical junior Financial Controller to join our Finance team and support a range of activities across financial reporting, analysis, budgeting and process improvement.
This is a part-time position (approx. 20 hours/week), making it a great opportunity for a university student, recent graduate or junior finance professional looking to gain practical experience in financial controlling and reporting. We also welcome applications from parents searching for a flexible arrangement.
What will you do?
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and maintaining financial reports, dashboards and management reporting
- Supporting monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities
- Comparing actual results with budgets, forecasts and previous periods and investigating variances
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Collecting and consolidating financial data from different departments
- Monitoring operating costs and supporting profitability analysis
- Preparing ad hoc financial analyses and presentations
- Supporting financial controls, data accuracy and audit activities
- Contributing to process improvement, reporting automation and digitalisation projects
What are we looking for?
Your profile:
- Completed secondary education; university studies or a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field is an advantage
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and lookups)
- Good command of English
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. MS Dynamics, SAP, Oracle) or reporting tools (Power BI/Tableau) is a plus, but not required
You are a good fit if you have:
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with an eye for detail
- Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Clear communication and a collaborative approach
- Curious, proactive mindset and willingness to learn and develop
