Where DevOps meets AI 

At 2N (part of the Axis/Canon group), we are extending our DevOps team within the 2N OS program, which develops the next generation of firmware for 2N devices. We are now exploring how AI agents can make the way we build, test and ship firmware faster and smarter.

 

YOUR ROLE 

As a Junior Agentic DevOps Engineer - trainee, you will help maintain our development environment for embedded software – CI/CD pipelines and related infrastructure – and help us bring AI agents into it. You will: 

• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines that build and continuously test firmware on real product hardware or equivalent targets 

• Automate development workflows with AI agents and LLM-based tools – e.g., build-failure triage, log analysis, code-review assistance or test-result summaries 

• Script and automate repetitive tasks in Python and Bash 

• Support developers with containerized build environments and project setup (Yocto, Meson) 

• Work closely with firmware engineers and share what you learn with the team 

Qualifications

YOUR PROFILE 
This position is suitable for college students and graduates, or as a part-time job.

Core skills:  

• Genuine interest in DevOps and AI – you enjoy automating things and are curious about how AI agents can help engineers 

• Basic knowledge of Python and Bash 

• Knowledge of Linux and Git 

• Good written and spoken English 

• Keen to learn, proactive and a team player 

Nice to have:  

• Hands-on experience with development environments and CI/CD pipelines, ideally for embedded software 

• Experience with Docker / containers  

• First experience with AI coding assistants, LLMs o r agentic frameworks (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, local LLMs, MCP) 

• Experience with Yocto, Meson or Gerrit 

• Knowledge of C/C++ and embedded systems development
