Then you might be the colleague we are looking for.

At KBC Global Services in Prague, we contribute to the development of Rainbow, KBC Group’s Multi-Tenant Warehouse used for regulatory reporting across several KBC entities in Europe. Within our team, you will work closely with colleagues from Finance, IT and business teams to help translate reporting needs into clear data definitions, mappings, tests and documentation.

What you can expect

As a Junior Functional Analyst, you will gradually build expertise in finance, data and regulatory reporting. You will be supported by experienced colleagues and will have the opportunity to learn how business requirements are translated into reliable reporting solutions.

Your main responsibilities will include:
• Analyzing and clarifying business requirements together with more experienced colleagues.
• Supporting the definition of data requirements, data mappings and transformation logic.
• Helping to prepare, execute and document functional tests.
• Contributing to clear documentation and handover of delivered solutions.
• Working with SQL to analyze data and investigate questions or issues.
• Collaborating with Finance, IT and other stakeholders in an international environment.
• Preparing input for improvements and changes in your functional area.

What we are looking for

You bring:
• Good written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Basic SQL knowledge or a strong motivation to develop it further.
• Interest in finance, banking products, data or reporting.
• The ability to work carefully with data and documentation.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to ask questions, share findings and learn from others.
• A structured way of working.

The following are considered a plus:
• First experience as a functional analyst, business analyst, data analyst or similar.
• Basic knowledge of accounting, financial products or banking processes.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting such as FINREP, COREP or related reporting domains.
• Experience with data warehouses, BI solutions or reporting tools.

Why you will enjoy this role

• You will learn a lot about finance, data and regulatory reporting in a supportive team.
• You will work on Rainbow, an important KBC Group platform used across multiple European entities.
• You will collaborate with colleagues from different countries, backgrounds and expertise areas.
