We are looking for someone to join our Risk Controlling Team as a Junior Risk Controller to ensure correctness and consistency of trades, positions, PnL, margins and fees, with strong focus on data quality, transparency, and structured and analytical mindset.

What You Will Be Responsible For:

Daily risk monitoring & reporting

Validate data across systems (positions, PnL, margins)
Investigate breaks and explain drivers (e.g. PnL movements)
Perform daily reconciliations (trades, margins, fees)

Data handling & validation

Work with large datasets (Excel, SQL, Power BI)
Ensure data quality (missing, incorrect, delayed data)
Reconcile data from multiple sources (systems, exchanges, brokers)

Stakeholder support

Answer ad-hoc questions (“what changed?”, “why?”)
Prepare simple analyses and summaries
Communicate clearly and escalate issues on time

Process improvement & automation

Run daily/monthly processes (reports, controls)
Identify inefficiencies and improve processes
Support automation (Python, Power Automate, internal tools)
Work with data integration methods such as API / SFTP connections
Contribute to report automatization

Systems & documentation

Maintain risk systems and key datasets
Support onboarding of new products and data feeds
Keep clear documentation (SharePoint / internal wiki)
Follow control and audit requirements

What We Need From You:

Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or similar
Basic understanding of PnL, positions and risks
Basic understanding of data structures (tables, time series)
Analytical and structured skills - you can break down problems step by step
Tech-oriented skills - you are not afraid of systems, data and new tools
Strong attention to detail and reliability, with sense of ownership and responsibility
Communication skills (to be able to explain numbers simply)
Focus on positive collaboration, shared success and working with different departments to reach a common goal
Curious and proactive mindset

Technical skills:

- Excel (required)
- SQL (required)
- Power BI or similar is an advantage

Nice to have

- Python or any automation experience
- Interest in AI and modern data tools
- Basic awareness of API / SFTP data handling is a plus
