Are you passionate about building AI-powered solutions that transform unstructured data into business insights? We are looking for an experienced AI/NLP Engineering professional who enjoys combining hands-on technical work with team leadership and stakeholder collaboration. This is an opportunity to take ownership of large-scale AI and NLP initiatives, lead a small team of engineers, and help shape the adoption of modern AI development practices in a highly technical environment. Hire, lead and mentor a team of 2-3 engineers while remaining hands-on in technical delivery Design and develop NLP and AI pipelines processing millions of documents and data records Build solutions for document parsing, chunking, metadata extraction, entity recognition, embeddings, and semantic search Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and AI-powered knowledge retrieval solutions Work with Large Language Models (LLMs) to extract insights from unstructured data Apply Python, SQL, and Snowflake expertise to evaluate, design, and improve technical solutions Collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders, balancing requirements, feasibility, and delivery expectations Review AI-generated code and plans, ensuring quality, governance, and production readiness Support the adoption of AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code and other modern AI engineering workflows Contribute to AI and machine learning strategies while helping to grow engineering capabilities within the team Požadujeme: 2+ years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Natural Language Processing Proven experience building or operating NLP pipelines at scale Strong knowledge of LLMs, embeddings, vector search, semantic retrieval, and RAG architectures Hands-on experience with Python and SQL, Snowflake and cloud-based data environments Practical understanding of AI agents and AI-assisted software development Experience using Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar developer productivity tool Fluent English is required Nabízíme: Hybrid working model - for remote option 1 monthly visit to Ostrava is required Clear progression path into broader technical leadership and management responsibilities Opportunity to influence AI adoption and engineering best practices International, highly technical, and collaborative team 25 days of holidays, 4 sick days, meal allowance, lifestyle/leisure benefit allowance annually reviewed company-wide closures - in 2026, on 19 August (Unplug Day) and 24 December – 1 January inclusive (Global Shutdown) and a volunteering day.
