Role:
Wattstor is looking for talented Python developer for edge control devices. You will be developing and optimising control logic for energy flows and communication with external devices via ethernet (like EV chargers, Batteries, Photovoltaic or Heat pump). Development is based on Ubuntu linux and Python 3.x
You will be part of a team developing real time management and monitoring, code running on edge controller devices.
We have a test lab for integration testing and also cooperate with FEKT VUT Brno.
Required
Fluency in Python 3, Linux experience
Docker and application containerization experience
Git (including pull requests and code reviews, branching strategy)
Advantage
Experience in energy industry
Hands-on experience developing device communication for Ethernet interfaces.
Familiar with SiL and HiL testing
Experience with cloud computing and REST APIs
Experience with protocol Modbus TCP
Familiar with ARM-based SBCs.
