Quantitative Analyst - Prague v Czech Republic

We are expanding our Quantitative Analytics Function and hiring a Quantitative Analyst. Join to our team and contribute to high‑impact trading decisions.

What you will be doing:

• develop quantitative models and algorithms for trading, forecasting and business optimization
• identify market opportunities and collaborate with traders and analysts on idea generation
• train, validate and back test newly developed models and strategies
• support hedging strategies on the EEX Power Exchange
• work closely with the trading desk to deliver actionable insights and improve decision making

Who we´re looking for:

• academic background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering
• hands on experience with quantitative methods, modelling or end to end analytical product development
• strong skills in modelling, software development, data science (machine learning, AI, etc.)
• experience with programming languages such as Python, VBA, C, or analytical tools like R
• ability to quickly learn new tools, frameworks and technical approaches
• previous experience in EU energy markets is a strong plus
