1. Provide in-depth technical BAU application and production support.
2. Manage incidents, problems and changes of varying complexity in line with IT Service Management processes.
3. Monitor applications, processes and environments using tools such as Geneos ITRS, Airflow and BMC Control-M.
4. Investigate and troubleshoot technical and production issues, identifying root causes and driving them through to resolution.
5. Work closely with UNIX, Database, Network and upstream/downstream application teams to maintain and improve service stability.
6. Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements and take ownership of their implementation.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Application Support Engineer to join a team responsible for supporting and maintaining critical applications in a production environment.

This role combines hands-on technical application support, monitoring, troubleshooting, IT Service Management and automation. You will work closely with development, infrastructure and other technology teams to ensure platform stability, resolve complex issues and continuously improve the supportability of the environment.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who goes beyond reactive production support. You should have a proactive approach to improving platform stability, automation and operational efficiency, with the ability to take ownership of technical issues and drive them through to resolution.

You will be comfortable working across multiple technical teams and communicating effectively with different stakeholders in an international environment.
