1. Developing code by applying Software Craftsmanship best practices and quality standards (technical debt, clean code, review, peer programming, infrastructure as a code etc.
2. Understanding business requirements and defining technical solutions to implement them
3. Regularly delivering product increments
4. Working closely with development team located in Paris (remotely)
5. Applying release processes, and L1/L2/L3 support in case of production issue by applying technical fixes
6. Integrating and applying Agile methodology by participating, and contributing to all ceremonies

O pozici / o projektu

Within the Structured Finance & Liquidity team (SFL), you will work on banking applications supporting structured finance activities, liquidity calculations and regulatory reporting. Your role will be to contribute to the development and maintenance of information systems used by Société Générale’s Corporate and Investment Banking business. The team works closely with business users, Business Analysts and IT teams located in Paris and Warsaw. As we continue to grow our entity in Poland, we are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer who will help build and enhance backend solutions, support technical design and ensure that delivered solutions meet both business and regulatory requirements.
