Are you an experienced Lead Engineer in the automotive industry looking for a role where you can have a real impact on the technical direction of a product?

For a stable international manufacturing company, we are looking for a senior technical specialist who will take the lead in product development, act as the main technical partner for the customer, and connect engineering, suppliers and the manufacturing plant. You will guide the product from initial design through tooling and validation to successful series production.

This is a senior technical role without direct people management, offering a high level of independence, responsibility and influence over key technical decisions.

SENIOR PRODUCT ENGINEER / LEAD ENGINEER * Technical leadership of the product from development through to successful series production
* Functional coordination of engineering and design activities within the project
* Acting as the main technical contact for the customer
* Coordinating cooperation between the customer, suppliers and the manufacturing plant
* Leading design reviews and resolving technical changes and deviations
* Assessing product design with regard to manufacturability and assembly
* Working with CAE/FEA simulation results, MoldFlow and dimensional analyses
* Supporting the development, trials and approval of production tooling
* Leading engineering activities within APQP, PPAP, D-FMEA and DVP&R
* Working with CAD data, technical documentation and BOM in PLM / Teamcenter
* Selecting technically and economically optimal solutions and taking responsibility for the program engineering budget
* Providing technical support during production launch and subsequent product or process changes

Požadujeme

* Technical education or equivalent relevant professional experience
* Senior-level experience in product engineering within the automotive industry
* Experience with the full product development lifecycle – from design through tooling and validation to series production
* Knowledge of APQP, FMEA, PPAP, DFM/DFA and automotive manufacturing processes
* Good understanding of CAD, GD&T and technical documentation
* Experience in technical communication with customers and supplier coordination
* German and English at a communicative level
* Strong analytical thinking, independence and problem-solving skills
* Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe
