Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage complex space missions (some of these under ESA supervision)
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with institutional goals.
Lead / take part in a consortium of companies, fostering effective relationships and communication among diverse stakeholders.
Employ both traditional project management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2) and agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) to facilitate efficient project execution and delivery.
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to proactively manage project challenges.
Organize and lead meetings, workshops, and presentations to engage team members and stakeholders, providing clarity and direction.
Mentor and develop junior project managers, strengthening project management expertise within the organization.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field; (Master’s degree is preferred).
5+ years of project management experience, with significant exposure to the space, aviation, automotive or other engineering sectors.
Experience with working in multisector consortium projects is an advantage, particularly in the context of space initiatives.
Familiarity with both traditional project management methodologies and agile methodologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
Ability to navigate complex project environments and foster collaboration among diverse groups.
