Senior Software Developer v Ostrava – Moravská Ostrava, Česko

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of a cloud-based ETL platform. You will design and develop data processing solutions using Microsoft Azure, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions and MS SQL Server, while working closely with business stakeholders and external partners.

What you’ll be doing:

• Analyse business requirements and create solution concepts and technical designs as part of ETL platform development.
• Design, implement and develop ETL/ELT data processing pipelines using MS Azure Data Factory and Azure Functions within CEEDACH.
• Prepare and maintain mechanisms for the automatic import, validation and updating of the insured database based on business requirements, using MS Azure Cloud PaaS services and MS SQL Server.
• Onboard new partners and contracts to the ETL platform, including:
• Maintain the continuity and reliability of the cloud ETL platform dedicated to importing and processing partner data using Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions and Azure SQL.
• Monitor production pipelines and troubleshoot and resolve pipeline failures and data quality issues.
• Cooperate with internal and external clients at various stages of project implementation.
• Cooperate and communicate with other AXA Partners departments in accordance with company rules and processes.
• Prepare and maintain required technical documentation.

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ years of experience writing complex queries using T-SQL.
• English at B2/C1 level and Czech at C1/C2 are required.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, ETL/ELT development and data warehousing, with the ability to understand and organize data from various sources.
• Hands-on experience with MS Azure Cloud PaaS services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Blob Storage, Azure SQL / SQL Managed Instance)
• Experience with Python, particularly in data processing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD principles and experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or IT Management.
• Ability to work effectively under time pressure.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of German is an advantage.
• Experience with .NET is an advantage.
