As our Senior Software Engineer, you’ll support HID’s success by:

• Contributing to the architecture, design, and development of new product features, components, workflows, proof of concept prototypes, interfaces.
  
  
• Participating in Scaled Agile software development process performing tasks including coding and testing modules, maintaining, and tuning applications and related component
  
  
• Participating in troubleshooting/task identification, work effort estimates, and work schedules for development and maintenance activities
  
  
• Ensuring that all tasks are performed in accordance with specific internal procedures and standards, as well as industry best practices
  
  
• Ensuring and demonstrate code quality through comprehensive and effective unit testing coverage

Your Experience and Background include:

• Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent (Master’s degree preferred). Candidates with equivalent education plus relevant work experience may also be considered
  
  
• Excellent understanding of software development within most of the following: TypeScript, Java, NodeJS, Python, microservice architecture, professional server deployment and advanced SQL
  
  
• 3-6 years of development experience in most of above languages
• Experience in working with Docker and deployment and delivery of complex solutions within cloud services
  
  
• Deep practical knowledge of cryptography is expected. PKCS11, Asn.1, Microsoft cryptography systems, general cryptography primitives, X509 Certificates
  
  
• Experience building SaaS products on AWS
  
  
• Good understanding of DevOps processes – CI/CD pipeline and related tools.
  
  
• Familiar with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.
  
  
• Respect for Computer Science fundamentals, design patterns, and development best practices.
  
  
• Understanding of Agile Methodology and Principles
