Job offer

Interested in robotics, software, and solving real-world technical challenges? Join Kassow Robots!

We are looking for a technically curious and solution-oriented colleague to join our Technical Support team in Prague, with a particular focus on software, connectivity, and robot integration projects.

You will work closely with our software R&D teams in Prague and Copenhagen, as well as customers and technology partners around the world. Together, you'll investigate technical challenges, find practical solutions, and help customers get the most out of our robotic technology.

You don't need to be an experienced software developer or a robotics expert. What matters most is a solid technical foundation, some hands-on programming experience, independent thinking, and a willingness to learn.

What you'll be doing

Investigate and troubleshoot software-related issues using system logs, diagnostic tools, and test environments.
Support customers and integration partners working with our software interfaces, APIs, and development tools.
Analyze and reproduce reported issues, write simple test scripts, and collaborate closely with our R&D team to find solutions.
Assist with robot connectivity, networking, and integration into industrial systems and customer applications.
Test new software features, validate fixes, and contribute to technical documentation.
Share technical knowledge with colleagues, partners, and customers through consultations, training sessions, and occasional on-site visits.

What we're looking for

A technical education or equivalent practical experience, ideally in computer science, software engineering, automation, robotics, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with at least one programming language, preferably Python or C++, including the ability to understand existing code and independently write simple scripts or test applications.
Basic understanding of software APIs and how different systems communicate.
Familiarity with Linux environments and fundamental computer networking concepts.
Analytical thinking, a structured approach to troubleshooting, and the ability to identify connections and root causes.
Independence, good communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
Good written and spoken English, sufficient for everyday technical communication with international colleagues and customers.

Nice to have, but not essential

Experience with industrial automation, robotics, or PLC systems.
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, or Modbus TCP.
Experience with REST APIs, ROS/ROS 2, or other software integration technologies.
Previous experience in software testing, debugging, or technical customer support.

What makes this role interesting?

Work with real robots – see how software interacts with physical machines and how your work translates into real-world applications.
Stay close to software development – collaborate directly with R&D engineers and contribute to improving our products.
Variety and technical challenges – explore different technologies, customer applications, and technical problems rather than repetitive support tasks.
Opportunities to grow – build practical expertise in robotics, software integration, industrial automation, and communication technologies.
Make a visible impact – your investigations and feedback will directly contribute to better software and improved customer experience.

What we offer

Flexible working hours – we value results and effective teamwork.
An international team – work with colleagues in Prague and Copenhagen and collaborate with customers and partners around the world.
Occasional home office – when the nature of your current tasks allows it and working remotely makes sense.
A comfortable workplace – refreshments, fresh fruit, and great espresso at the office.
Company events and team gatherings – opportunities to meet and spend time with colleagues, both in Prague and at our headquarters in Copenhagen.
Opportunities to travel – occasional customer visits across Europe and potential participation in major international robotics and automation trade fairs, such as Automatica and Automate.
