1. Design and evolve solution architecture across the diabetes-care ecosystem (mobile, clinical web, identity, health data)
2. Keep contracts and flows consistent across services (identity, country/localization config, PHI, clinical platform, notifications, device/sync)
3. Drive architectural decisions: APIs (REST/GraphQL), data (SQL / Cosmos), messaging, storage, identity
4. Design and oversee the cryptography layer: asymmetric encryption (RSA), symmetric encryption, key management, data protection at rest and in transit, tokens / wallets / storage credentials
5. Own NFRs: security, privacy, multi-region, scalability, observability
6. Support integrations: meters / BT pairing, device cloud sync, legal consents, identity verification, translation workflows

You will join a team building a cloud and application ecosystem that supports people with diabetes and healthcare professionals.

The portfolio includes, among others:

• a patient mobile app (Flutter) with related backends and device cloud sync
• a web platform for clinics and healthcare staff
• an identity service — accounts, consents, age verification
• a health-data service — storage and APIs
• blood glucose meter integrations, cloud sync, legal consents, i18n

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps on end-to-end architecture in a regulated environment (medical / PHI data). Direct client engagement — workshops, architectural decisions, and technical communication with business stakeholders.
