You will be designing and maintaining the ETL/ELT pipelines that populate the data lake and data warehouse, working closely with Product Analysts, Data Scientists, and ML Engineers to keep data clean, accessible, and well-modelled.
What you'll be doing:
Designing, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines in Python and Databricks
Developing data transformation rules and data models to support analytics and reporting
Implementing data quality checks, maintaining data catalogues, and setting up orchestration, logging, and monitoring
Collaborating with analysts, data scientists, and ML engineers to make data accessible and understandable
Applying test-driven development practices and Git-based version control with branching strategies
What we're looking for:
7+ years of experience in data engineering
Strong Python skills with hands-on ETL experience on Databricks
Solid experience with AWS cloud services
Spark / PySpark experience (2–3 years minimum), SQL proficiency, Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools
Nice to have: experience with Microsoft Dynamics, familiarity with data orchestration tools and data catalogue platforms
