Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership: Define and own the technical direction of your team, including architecture, design decisions, and engineering standards.
Hands-on Development:Actively contribute code, tackle the most complex technical challenges, and lead by example.
Team Guidance: Mentor and support engineers, run code reviews, share knowledge, and help team members grow their skills.
Delivery:Break down product requirements into technical solutions, estimate work, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.
Platform Quality:Improve the performance, scalability, and maintainability of our systems; identify and reduce technical debt.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, the CTO, and other teams to shape the roadmap and balance business needs with technical realities.
Security & Compliance: Apply best practices in security and data protection, ensuring our solutions meet the regulatory requirements of the financial industry.
Experience: Several years of professional software development experience, including time in a senior engineer or tech lead role, ideally in fintech or another regulated industry.
Technical Expertise: Strong background in backend and/or full-stack development, ideally with https://jobeax.com/link/JSd7UYCSg572jJDY and TypeScript, plus solid knowledge of system design and building scalable, distributed systems. Leadership Skills: Experience guiding a team of engineers, setting technical standards, and mentoring others.
Problem-Solving:A pragmatic approach to complex problems, with the ability to weigh trade-offs and make sound, data-driven technical decisions.
Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have:Experience with React, Python, or Elasticsearch; background in lending or payment systems, credit scoring, or financial regulation (e.g. PSD2, GDPR).
Why Join Us?
Innovative Environment:Work on cutting-edge fintech products and help shape the future of digital lending.
