1. Own the vision, roadmap, and target outcomes for the Scheduling and Workload Automation (SWA) capability across build, run, and continuous improvement.
2. Manage demand intake and prioritisation, balancing feature delivery, resilience, service improvements, and technical debt.
3. Represent user and stakeholder needs from engineering, operations, and scheduling communities in product planning and decision‑making.
4. Define and track measurable outcomes, including OKRs, KPIs and SLAs to demonstrate value and performance.
5. Translate requirements into clear epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and non‑functional specifications.
6. Drive cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, architecture, infrastructure and service management teams to deliver roadmap commitments.

We are looking for an experienced Technical Product Owner to lead the Scheduling and Workload Automation (SWA) capability within a global enterprise technology function. This role covers the full lifecycle of scheduling and automation platforms supporting Linux and mainframe‑based environments , ensuring they are reliable, resilient, secure, and continuously improving .

You will translate broad platform strategies into a clear, prioritised roadmap , balancing new capabilities with platform health, compliance, technical debt, and operational excellence. The position requires strong collaboration across engineering, architecture, operations, and service‑management teams to deliver and evolve a business‑critical capability at scale.

While experience with BMC Control‑M or IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS) is highly desirable, the key requirement is proven product ownership experience in large, complex, regulated environments .
