GV Manager

We are looking for a passionate Team Manager to join our DACH Client Services Team. The Team Manager is responsible for serving ADP clients to deliver world-class service, as well as providing leadership, coordination, and management of team members and work activities.

Role responsibilities:

You will be responsible for managing and developing team members by:

Providing the training needed to perform their operational tasks effectively.
Preparing, implementing, and monitoring annual individual development plans.
Setting and managing annual objectives and conducting performance appraisals.
Actively participating in the recruitment and selection of new hires.
Reporting team activities on a weekly basis using the internal time management tool.

Others:

Organize payroll schedules and production activities, ensuring service continuity.
Ensure services are delivered in accordance with contractual commitments and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Define, agree on, and follow payroll rules and procedures specific to each client.
Ensure compliance, participate in certification meetings, and maintain up-to-date documentation.
Apply Client Service methodologies, processes, and procedures (payroll validation, responsibility matrix, DTPs, etc.).
Work closely with SSC Team Leads and HR to ensure new associates are recruited and trained consistently in line with our standards.
Identify talent and work with Team Managers and HR to ensure appropriate development plans are created and implemented.
Act as an advisor, where appropriate, during recruitment processes for Payroll Production roles.
Monitor attrition rates to ensure alignment with Global Payroll goals; where discrepancies exist, propose corrective actions.
Support the development and deployment of the Shared Services Center.

A proven track record of successfully managing and motivating a customer service or sales team.
A self-starting, proactive approach, combined with excellent communication skills and a strong sense of accountability.
Excellent customer service and leadership skills.
Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to promote quality and value.
Highly organized and methodical.
Target-driven and motivated.
Fluent in English and German.
