With more than 60 companies across Europe, Elevion Group is looking for an Information Security Specialist who would like to grow in cyber and information security and support the implementation of security practices across selected Group companies.

Support cybersecurity and information security activities.
Help implement Elevion Group security policies, standards and procedures.
Participate in NIS2 compliance initiatives and support monitoring of compliance status of in-scope entities.
Participate in Group-wide security initiatives and contribute to their local implementation.
Support identification, documentation and follow-up of information security risks.
Help ensure that identified security risks are communicated, action plans are defined and progress is monitored.
Support the maintenance and regular update of business continuity, disaster recovery and related security documentation.
Help increase employees’ awareness of cyber threats and good security practices.
Support regular assessments of cybersecurity maturity and security control effectiveness.
Create, maintain and improve cybersecurity documentation, policies, procedures and supporting materials.
Participate in supplier security assessments and help follow up on identified findings.
Coordinate and follow up on results of penetration tests, vulnerability scans and similar security assessments.
Contribute to the definition and evaluation of security awareness campaigns.
Prepare inputs for regular information security reporting to management.
The role is a second line of defense role and reports directly to the Chief Information Security Officer of Elevion Group.

This role is suitable for a motivated junior to medior information security specialist who wants to develop further in cybersecurity governance, risk management, compliance and security operations. You should be process-focused, eager to learn and interested in gaining practical knowledge of modern IT and security platforms such as XDR, vulnerability management solutions, Azure Cloud Security, phishing awareness tools and risk management platforms.

What do we expect from you?

University degree or equivalent practical experience.
2+ years of experience in cyber security, information security, IT risk, IT operations or a related field.
Understanding information security management, risk management and relevant industry standards.
Knowledge of security technologies, IT infrastructure and key security concepts.
Technical curiosity and willingness to discuss security topics with IT teams and learn from more experienced colleagues.
Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics in a clear and understandable way.
Fluent English; German is an advantage and additional languages are a plus.
Relevant professional qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or similar is welcome, but not required.
Strong willingness to learn, grow and take responsibility step by step.
Reliability, responsibility, ownership mindset and a structured way of working.
